A Prayer for the Children
Leader: O Heavenly Father, we commend the
souls of our children to You. Be their God and
Father; and mercifully supply whatever is
wanting in us through frailty or negligence.
Strengthen them to overcome the corruptions
of the world, to resist all solicitations to evil,
whether from within or without; and deliver
them from the secret snares of the enemy. Pour
Your grace into their hearts, and confirm and
multiply in them the gifts of Your Holy Spirit,
that they may daily grow in grace and in
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ; and so
faithfully serving You here, may come to rejoice
in Your presence hereafter. "Tri Cri'ost ar
d'Tiarna" (Through Him who died and rose for
us all.)
Congregation: Amen.

For the Clergy
Leader: O God, the pastor and shepherd of all
the faithful, mercifully look upon Your servants, whom You have been
pleased to set as pastors over Your Church;
grant them, we beseech You, to be in word and
conversation a wholesome example to the people
committed to her charge; that she with
them may attain unto everlasting life. "Tri
Cri'ost ar d'Tiarna" (Through Him who died
and rose for us all.)
Congregation: Amen.

For Missions
Leader: O great Lord of the harvest, send forth,
we beseech You, laborers into the harvest of the
world, that the grain which is even now ripe
may not fall and perish through our neglect.
Pour forth Your sanctifying Spirit on our fellow-
Christians, and Your converting grace on
the unbeliever. Raise up, we pray You, a devout
ministry among believers, that, all Your
people being knit together in one body in love, that
Your holy Church may grow up into the measure
of the stature of the fullness of Christ. "Tri
Cri'ost ar d'Tiarna" (Through Him who died
and rose for us all.)
Congregation: Amen.

For the Parish
Leader: Almighty and everlasting God, who
governs all things in heaven and earth, mercifully
hear the supplications of Your servants,
and grant unto this parish all things that are
needed for its spiritual welfare; enlighten and
guide its clergy; strengthen and increase the
faithful; visit and relieve the sick; turn and soften
the wicked; rouse the careless; recover the
fallen; restore the penitent; remove all hindrances
to the advancement of Your truth;
bring all to the fold of Your Holy Church; to the honor and
glory of Your Name. "Tri Cri'ost ar
d'Tiarna" (Through Him who died and rose for
us all.)
